Nicole Darosh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field since 2013 by providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Nicole has experience providing various levels of care such as wraparound/IBHS services, mentoring, family-based, Community School-Based Behavioral Health Services, and outpatient services. Nicole attended Albright College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies and then earned a Master’s degree in Social Work at Temple University. In addition, Nicole completed a program to receive a Certificate in Play Therapy during her graduate studies. Nicole is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Nicole has experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, anger management, parenting, and adjustment disorders. Nicole has also worked with individuals struggling with self-injurious behaviors and suicidal ideation. Nicole’ passion is working with children, adolescents, and families and uses several treatment modalities. such as cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and strengths-based. Nicole has worked with clients to help with family issues and parenting, relationships issues, stress management, thought patterns, and life transitions. She works from a client-centered approach and tailors’ treatment to clients’ individual needs. She helps to develop effective coping strategies to manage stressors and likes to focus on thought patterns and how changing them creates a change in behavior leading to positive outcomes. Nicole aims to establish an empathic and nonjudgmental environment for her clients to explore, grow and learn new skills to help them to better manage life’s stressors and to improve their overall mental health.
