Rachel Rubright

Rachel is a master’s student at Kutztown University studying her final year in clinical mental health counseling. Rachel has a passion for working with those who feel lost, stressed, or weighed down by anxiety. She loves to explore meaning in both the big and small moments in life, and use that meaning to propel her clients on their path forward. She uses her background in psychology and neuroscience to help her clients walk away with a better understanding of where they feelings come from, and how to reign them in.

She enjoys learning about any spiritual and religious connections her clients feel, and exploring the ways those connections relate to how they view themselves, others, and the world. Rachel is especially interested in working through anxiety, panic disorders, and trauma. She uses an integrative approach to counseling, meaning she tailors her skills to the needs of each client.

She believes everyone deserves an ear to listen, and a person to walk alongside. She would like to walk with you, and listen as you explore your path together. Some of her favorite counseling tools include mindfulness, psychoeducation, and nature-based counseling techniques. In her free time, Rachel enjoys singing, gardening, kayaking, and being with her golden retriever. Any excuse to be outside will see her there. Time spent appreciating beauty, especially the beauty that comes from interacting with nature, is time she appreciates the most. She hopes that you will stop by to talk soon!
