Nathan Scheffler

Nathan has been working with people since 2009 in residential settings with adolescents who had experienced trauma and then with adults experiencing addiction to drugs and alcohol. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been a therapist since 2015. Nathan is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Trauma Therapist and Addictions Counselor. He has extensive training in Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and experience providing Biblical Christian Counseling.
Nathan graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Justice and Political Science in 2006, and completed his Masters in Social Work in 2016 at Widener University.
Nathan is a husband and father and a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He entered the field of social work out of a desire to help people grow and change, despite the challenges they have faced in life.
