Katie Korbich

Katie is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who collaborates with individuals using a strengths-based
approach to assist them in navigating life’s challenges. She serves as the guide to help individuals
identify creative solutions to their current issues utilizing therapy techniques such as motivational
interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practice, and solution-focused therapy. Katie’s diversity of experience in residential and outpatient settings allows her to help with a variety of mental health concerns from a holistic and client-centered perspective. Through her work in addiction recovery, she has gained an understanding of the interplay between addiction and mental health, allowing her to assist individuals in sustaining their recovery while becoming a better version of themselves.
 

Katie received her BA in Psychology from Lehigh University and her Master of Social work (MSW) from Kutztown University. Katie is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and regularly attends training events to learn new approaches to support clients and to learn from other counselors’ experiences. She is also being currently being supervised to attain her LCSW.
 

Katie’s interests include road and trail bicycling, hiking, tap dancing, and yoga. Keeping active and
spending time in nature allows her to maintain a work/home life balance.
