Whether you are starting counseling for the first time or returning for additional support, you are making an important choice for yourself – exploring what brings you distress and wanting relief. Together, you will have a private space to wonder aloud, grow, and find balance. Through my practice, I utilize an integrative approach, cognitive behavior therapy and psychoeducation, to encourage individuals to explore their challenges and difficulties and find practical solutions to their problems.
Currently, I am a doctoral student working toward a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision while working toward state licensure. I have a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kutztown University. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, career development and college exploration, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. I have a growing interest in helping adolescents and young adults explore their passions and make sense of the world of work, higher education, and how to make life decisions.
I strive to help individuals develop the courage to be imperfect and cope with life’s stressors. With your motivation to achieve wellness, we can work toward your goals and develop harmony within yourself and others. Jean is working toward stated licensure under supervision.
