Kutztown Graduate Intern

Jean is a graduate student intern from Kutztown University. Currently, she is in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and is expected to graduate in May. She is also applying to several doctorate programs to continue her education in Counselor Education and Supervision. Jean has experience working with children and adolescents in a partial psychiatric program, a school-based life-skills program, and coaching students through the college admissions and transition process. 

 

Jean's experience working with adolescents includes; anxiety, depression, autism, multiple disabilities, and behavioral issues. She has a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals through a holistic, strengths-based approach. Jean is also comfortable with facilitating psycho-education group workshops in stress management, career goals, and depression. 

 

Under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor, Jean is hopeful to expand her clinical experience with a wider variety of clients working through anxiety, depression, or life's transitions during an unprecedented time.
