Christina is a Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.  She received her Master’s from Drexel University and completed a research thesis “A Phenomenological Study with Women Breast Cancer Patients:  Understanding the Lived Experience via the Mandala Drawing and Interview.”  She has additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma Informed Care.  Christina has over 10 years of clinical practice with people confronted by wide-ranging behavioral and psychological needs.  Her professional experience includes individual and group therapy for inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient services working with children, adolescents, adults and families.  For over five years, she provided clinical direction and supervision for a child and adolescent partial hospitalization program toward enhancing treatment through a trauma informed lens by incorporating expressive arts, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and skill building from Dialectical Behavior Therapy.  Christina is dedicated to provide quality care in service to those who are looking for support during life challenges.

Christina believes everyone possesses a vital spark that can be uncovered, rediscovered, and empowered.  Sometimes joyful life experiences can be hindered when overshadowed by distressful challenges where it can be difficult to cope.  Everyone’s journey is unique and valuable.  In a safe and non-judgmental space, Christina will provide empathetic support for you to understand and explore these challenges to discover your own journey for overall wellness.  She applies a person-centered and holistic approach through verbal and non-verbal evidence based modalities to process intrusive thoughts and emotional responses.  Mindfulness and grounding techniques can be implemented to assist in regulating and coping with strong emotions that arise in daily living.  When it is difficult to find words to express thoughts and feelings, Christina offers Art Therapy to bridge the verbal with the non-verbal to reveal a deeper understanding of your lived experiences.  Christina will meet you wherever you are on your journey.  She will guide you through a path of self-exploration to enhance self-awareness, promote insight, reduce stress and cultivate internal strengths towards resiliency and healing.
