Zaidy De Leon

Zaidy is a graduate student intern from Kutztown University. She is currently in the Social Work Master program focusing on family in the social environment. As a bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) Social Worker, Zaidy enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds. She is genuinely interested in learning about others, helping individuals achieve their personal life and professional goals, and working through difficult situations.

Zaidy works with children and adults, helping them manage the stressors of their chronic illnesses and building resilience. She is passionate about using Christ-centered and strength-based approaches in a calm, positive environment. Zaidy will continue to expand her knowledge of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.

Zaidy will be under the supervision of the owner and founder of Mind Matters. Zaidy's goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides mental health to minority women, children, and youth; to normalize mental health concerns by breaking the silence to become better self-advocates, more accepting with less judgment, and speaking up about your daily worries.
